Hello,
On the admin-side, I want to select a few users that I would like to backup. cPanel has this feature in WHM which allows you to do backup for selected users but couldn't find it in Directadmin.
I found this feature in reseller panel of the admin account, but then it wouldn't backup the other resellers.
Any ideas ??
Thanks..

go to system backup, then select the checkbox:
Add user home directories to directory list below
the directories will all appear in the dropdown
at the bottom left. you can select then
which of those to delete from the system
backup.

It should. It's your responsibility to make sure every file and directory you want is being backed up. I believe there's a checkmark for mysql.

What is the best way to do this type of backup. I would like to backup all data that is important to restore a system in case of hd failure. So I would like to backup MySQL, Home folder for all users and whatever else is needed. I would then FTP it to another server. I would also like it to only keep one backup file on the local server is this possible?
How ?
Thanks,
Phil

Search for "sysbk" (without the quotes) in this forum.
My most recent listing of the files we backup should give you a starting point.
