Ie 5.50

DirectAdmin doesnt seem to work in IE 5.50.

Is there anyway we can fix this as the network at work doesnt have a newer version. I dont think they can change it either (lot of computers). Or is there another login?

Until I upgraded to IE6 a week ago, I'd been using DA with IE5.5 for over 3 months with no problems.

It looks related to your college's proxy server/gateway.

I dont know why but sometimes u can only access ports when u use http:// with IE.

So try http://www.host4leicester.com:2222

That might do it.

Hello,

I've also heard there are a few bugs in windows (big surprize) so updating to the latest service pack might fix too. Also try turning off any proxy servers, if you're using one.
