Congratulations, looks very promissing!

Is there an online demo I can try or a demoversion I can download?

I looked at the screenshots and read the faq but there are still a number of questions left I cannot seem to find the answer to, like "Is VAT supported?", "Are there any other payment methods except PayPal?"...

I think this will keep using people using this plugin , at least me.
I dont want to be depending on 3rd-party to make my invoicing working.

Hahaha ! Nice one fusionictnl !

We're really sorry about what happened to the server but we have no control over that. In fact the main server got hacked and the guy had to put it offline and format everything :(

As titam mentioned, IM is still at version 1.0 and almost any modification proposal will be available in the first update.

Best Regards,
The IM Team

Hm , certainly nothing to laugh :)

Like I said before , I cannot effort to be depending on your server to run my invoice program. You will have to come up with another solution so that the program keeps running even if your server is down.
Also, I asked some questions on your web side, would love it to get them answered

1. It does'nt support GST/VAT for now but we're working on it.

2. We're working on a monthly/yearly statistic function.

3.. Yes you can bill for non DA related services, but only for given DA accounts.

4. A Demo should be released soon.

how would I use this if I have clientexec? would it take the place of clientexec or would I need to use half half?

in what language was this written?

is it correct to assume it was written in php/mysql using DA's api?

syskall
09-10-2005, 08:37 AM
IM is back. It does use PHP but no mySQL and it's not compatible with any other billing system. You have to use half/half.

Don't hesitate to ask other questions.

PS: A new version should be available soon.

Hi,

I'd be quite interested in this product *iif* it's not dependant on your systems, no matter even if you have load balanced/redundant setup(s). I'd like to be responsible for my own uptime and billing would be vital in that respect. Has any progress been made to a non-dependant version yet?

If not, how long will this take, as I'm looking for products actively now.

Thanks

Does this still rely on your servers? i want something totally independent.

syskall
02-19-2006, 08:43 AM
It does not directly rely to our server, but only for the license verification part.

Anyways, our server is up 24/24 and if it has to be shutdown for any reason, we will release a version that does not rely to any server.

Everytime I add a new user to invoicing manager and then update the invoices, all the prices are mixed up. I have to go to all the users and fix all of their invoices each time I add a customer. Also, I would be nice if the invoicing manager would email the customers when they need to pay.

Anyone have a copy of the 1.2 version? I paid and can't login to their site to download or anything.... /sigh

It is located in /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/nsim/

Should be plugin.tar.gz

If you could would you mind emailing it to me at sales@ecsportal.com

Also before anyone says anything. This is just the application, it will not run without a license anyway so it is not like I'm asking for pirated software.

Oh my God! I bought it, I have it and I totally regret it! :( It's a totally waste of money!
It has the same features like ensim - even less! But ensim is FREE!
No chance to change language, currency, layout - nothing!
No e-mails send to admins nor users!
I have a 1 year licence - I hope that maybe in future it will be better... now I am going back to ensim, which works really fine for me after some changes in the code...
CRAP! :(

Hate to cause everyone to think I'm a retard.. but I bought invoicing mgr.. They sent me the reg code... Had it up and running in 10 minutes..

There are a few customizations I would like. I run my reseller business a little different than most engines are setup for. My resellers are more like independant reps. I don't sell them blocks of hosting accounts or bandwidth or anything.. I charge them by site based on the contracted agreement term (per month or per year).

Consequently, I need for a reseller to be able to have a view (preferably the main view) that shows all accounts expiring in X number of days (a drop down or text field with numeric values only).

Also, as sysadmin I should have a similar view, but be system wide.

Those two views should be fairly simple to code.

Integration with registrars would be fantastic. Personally, I would like for DirectI to be the first. This I would consider throwing some $$ after..

Lastly, an external signup page. Although lowest on my priority list.

I'd followed all of the instructions and I'm still getting this error message:

PHP script /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/invoicing_manager/reseller/index.php is protected by SourceGuardian and requires file ixed.4.4.1.fre or ixed.4.4.fre.
Please read SourceGuardian protected scripts manual.

Can someone help please? This vendor has poor customer service skill and is extremely slow. In fact, I had to issue a complaint to PayPal in order for him to activate my account.

I think "48 hours" in French means: "wait for me to reply in one week or when I feel like it"

Any help from anyone else besides the vendor is greatly apprecaited. Thanks!

NOTICE TO ALL INVOICINGMANAGER USERS

InvoicingManager has finally been sold... As the new owners of this plugin we will be attempting to repair the problems that have plagued this plugin for such a long time.

Please be patient with us as we will have to study the code and understand what the system does and does not do well in order to fix the issues but we will get the problems solved as soon as possible.

I invite all of you to report the bugs on http://www.errtrax.com so we have a list of the current problems and you can follow the status as things get fixed.

What does the sale mean for current customers...

If you have a PayPal subscription you need to cancel it and create a new one with us or you may loose your license.
We will no longer have unlimited licenses, only annual licenses as the development costs will be very high and we need to be able to keep the software up to date. Current unlimited license owners will get the next 3 years for free, after that you will be required to pay the subscription.
We will be requesting you to provide us with requirements, things you would like to have.
Do not purchase any licenses for at least the next week while the transfer of the domain name is in progress.

What does this mean for us...

We have a lot of work ahead of us.
We will be updating the website to reflect some changes.
We will be browsing through the code to figure out exactly how it was written.
We may have to rewrite a lot of the code, depending on the quality of the coding.
We will take over supporting the plugin as soon as the transfer of the domain name is complete.
We will create a stable version of the plugin as soon as possible and distribute that to the current customer base.
We will improve the usability as soon as possible.
We will be requesting input from the users and the DA community regarding new functionality.

We hope that we can convince the users who have purchased licenses and the DA community as a whole to give this plugin a new chance and not to judge the software based on the problems before the sale.

Regards,

nobaloney

Just an extra word of caution with regards to Invoicing Manager. I had an agreement in writing with Olivier (the original owner) on the 30th of October to purchase the source code for the plugin, and made payment the same day. Five days and no source-code later, I find that he has, in the meantime, sold the source to someone else. Olivier has my money and hasn't responded to my e-mails in a week.

Whether the supposed new owner was aware that Olivier had already sold the source to someone else I have no idea. All I know is that I've been had.

Be careful with this one people!

Whether the supposed new owner was aware that Olivier had already sold the source to someone else I have no idea. All I know is that I've been had.
-Swift

I was not aware of any other deals regarding the sale of source code, etc. I have been busy for months making this deal.

I don't know how you paid but I would claim the money back because I assume you will not get the source-code if he has not responded in a week and I will be very unhappy if the source-code is sold to someone else.

Hi 21secolo,

Great to have you as a customer. I will do my best to fix all open issues with the plugin and to build to into a great product.

When you're logged in on http://www.errtrax.com you can create an issue by clicking the "Add" option at the top on the page. I have not added any issues to the list as yet as I do not know what the current issues are and have just taken over the plugin. You are the first person (customer) who created an account on errtrax.com so please feel free to post the first bugreport :) I hope many will follow your example and register and then post their issues.

I've issued a payment dispute, but am just hoping Olivier hasn't already run off with the money! Being that he also offered me an "exclusive" deal, it makes me wonder just how many such deals he was offering! It's a shame you can't trust people thesedays, but I guess it keeps the escrow people in business.

Anyway, best of luck with the plugin.

Did you log in before you tried to Add an issue? This is the error I also get when I am not logged in.

In this moment I see an auction from the creator of this plugin for that... I hope that anyone can re-active this project... my fault is that I have buyed this plugin without read all this topic and now I have a big problem with this.... this is the error:

I paste the my versions of php and zend (the last I think!):

It's possible that it need an old version of Zend to work??? Anyone can help me with a technical suggestion?

(sorry for my eng)

The problem you are having is with the SourceGuardian Encoder. We will also be encoding the source code but will be using ionCube. We should have the plugin available for download in the next couple of days. We're just looking through the sourcecode at the moment to see if we can reuse it.

I am busy extracting text components from the source code but this functionality will only be available in the next version as I need to test it fully before I finalize the version with the language file.

I'm having a minor issue with the license for my ioncube encoder (says it's an old license and I need a new one :( ). It should be fixed by tomorrow and then I will encode the plugin and distribute the "working" version. Yes I deliberately put working in "" as I've only done preliminary tests on the version we got from Olivier.

Please post any issue for this plugin at http://www.errtrax.com. I've added several issues found on this forum already so please look through the issues and if you have more information please post it there. Also feature requests are welcome at http://www.errtrax.com.

I recommend trying with the new version when it's available this week and see if there are still issues. If there are still issues we can look for solutions.

Please be patient for a couple more days.
