ftp is slow

i have a little problem, my server is going with DA.
Now the problem is that the ftp is slow and sometimes when download is incomplete.

What can it be?
i allready restarted the ftp and server

Hello,

Is this a new problem or is it since you installed the server, if this is the case.
Check your proftpd.conf and see if the following lines are in the file:
UseReverseDNS off
IdentLookups off

and yes those 2 are off

Check to make sure your network card and your switch/router are using matching settings.
