Hello,
If you are wanting to edit the files directly, I would actually recommend using the Custom Httpd.conf feature:
Admin Panel -> Admin Settings -> domain.com
Then just add
ServerAlias newdomain.com
to the text area and click save.
This will modify /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/username/httpd.conf
You can't modify the file directly because it will be overwritten with each change.

Hi john ,
I just tested it and it work great , how exactly does it work
i see that the changes stay there(in the upper textarea , for how long ?) and also i just wants to be sure , any line that id like to add i just add it ?
What about ajusting an existing lines fo e.g ? how does this goes .
Personaly ill feel much better if ill know how things are going with
the server even when the admin panle takes care of everything .
Basicly for backups and other such .
Regarding the login form , thanks works great , so in my
opiniun there is no need to ajsut it any ferther now its
works like it should .
Thanks & keep up the good work ,
Jery ,
