cron.daily & webalizer

First, the particulars... DA running on RHL 7.3.

I've got a file /etc/cron.daily/00webalizer.

Cron daily runs jobs at just after 4 am (I checked).

But my webalizer usage_200310.html files for last night say they were written at 00:10 (12:10 am).

How come?

Hello,

DA doesn't use that cron file. It does the webalizer stat from the dataskq tally. You can delete that cron file. (/etc/cron.daily/00webalizer)

Two questions...

1) through what special magic do you manage to ignore a cron file?

2) how do you run webalizer? I looked for and didn't find any other cron jobs anywhere.
