Backup DNS Data

The DNS data is currently not backed up in an user backup, so I have to add 20 dns records again at the new server.

Hello,

It is in the backup file itself, but is not restored because generally the IP of the user changes (during server moves, etc), thus can't be copied over directly, or the domain will resolve to a different server. Thus DA relies on the dns template to create the new settings with the correct IP's (at the expense of customized records).

Hmmm .. couldn't you build some sort of wizard in it ? Wich let's you choose wich IP to bind with it or just use the ones in it (if it's the same server) ?
