Hello,

I use Directadmin on my dedicated server, an user told me that when he log in and go to advanced tools --> Domain administration that he has unlimited bandwith, in my packages are standing eg 1000 so that is not unlimited.

When I log in as a reseller the packages are looking fine but when I enter the user list en ask user details also on the top has the user unlimited bandwith.

Is this correct ?? I checked all packages, they are not unlimited.

Check the users package. Under your Reseller menu, click "List users" then click on the user in question. Look towards the bottom at "Package:". Does it say custom here? If so, then they are not assigned to one of your hosting packages. Click on "Modify User XXXX" at the top. Then it will have "Set Package to:" at the top of that screen. Select the correct package and click save. This will change all the users options to match that package. And from then on, if you change that package, it will change the user.

Anytime you change a users account directly (like change bandwidth, disk usage, ssh on or off, etc.) it will change their package to "Custom".

On the bottom in the user list is the package shown wich i gave the user and not custom.

See the attached file for example, look at both circles.

Very interesting. Try changing the users bandwidth manually. This will cause it to go to a "Custom" package. See if that changes the results. If it does, then try changing the package back using my instructions above.

What version of DirectAdmin are you running? It's not showing that for me using 1.24.1

:p I was lookin in the wrong place.
owevers,
It always says unlimited unless a the bandwidth/diskusage box is filled out when creating a domain.

Even though the box "Same as Main Account" is checked, it will still say unlimited, but will be limited by the account overall limit.

This makes a little since because for example. If you have an account allocated with 1000mb and had two domains, it wouldn't look right like:

domain 1 25mb / 1000mb
domain 2 40mb / 1000mb

since that might imply a real of 2,000 allocated.

Doh. Your right. I forgot to mention that. When you create the account, it will be setup with the aformentioned bandwidth limit. Like you create "User1" with "Package1". Package1 has a bw limit of 1000. User1 as a whole will have bw limit of 1000, when that user creates a domain (if they have the option of more than one) or when they edit the domain, the "Bandwidth" limit for that domain can be specified. Default is "Same as main account", meaning "Same as my USER's bandwidth limit (being User1 with Package1). So this means the actual domain can use unlimitted bw untill it reaches the ACCOUNTS limit (being User1's bw limit, which is the number you see on the right in your pic). :) Got it now owevers?
