how can i identify the reseller of Direct Admin?

Someone told me he is a Direct Admin reseller and he can offer me a low price for the Life Licence. How can i identify he is a reseller or not?

DA does not allow resellers at this moment however you do get discounted prices for your own datacenter so if you are getting this with a dedicated server it might be someone who gets the cheaper price but the license will not be on your name, it will be on his name.

That's not quite totally true, Onno.

DA allows licenses to be sold with hardware.

However there's no such thing as an authorized reseller and if someone sells you a license to use on your own server you and he are both in violation of the DA terms of sale.
