Need a little help with this. I recently purchased a server with DirectAdmin control panel, but don't have domain for it.....yet. I was wondering if there is a way that content can be seen by viewers with the IP address and if so, where do I uploaded it so it can be seen? I tried assigning a domain for it, but I can't seem to configure it so it works out, but I've seen others who use their IP address to point viewers to their pages. Thanks.

You have to input a domain in order of a user account to be created, since you don't have one you can just make it up or use what you are planning on getting in the future. Then from domain administration, set that domain as the default.
Then you should be able to access the website using server_ip/~username
like normal.

Ok, it worked. Thank you for your help. Though, if I get a domain for this user setting, how do I configure it? What kind of info should my domain registar know in order to configure my domain to the server? Thanks.

With your registar you either set the domain nameservers to those provided by your hosting provider, or use an A record pointing to the server IP address.
On the DirectAdmin server in the user level through Domain Administration, you can change the domain from the fake one you used to the real one.
