Email only Hosting plans...?

What is the best way to go about setting up an email hosting plan that prevents any access from the client trying to get www or ftp working? I have several business clients that are looking just to get user@mydomain.com type of service only for now and I know they have some semi-smart people on their staff that would eventually try to bypass the email and get into www features.

Is there anyway to accomplish this with DA?

Nothing's changed since; the only way to do it is with a custom skin.

Can you specify what skin a user gets or is it something that is global? In other words if you use this skin have you just dedicated a server to email only hosting?

You can set the skin on a per user basis. There is a dropdown box when viewing user details.

More to the request that you have. YOu can specify the skin in User Packages under your reseller panel. So you just create a user package called email_only or something and assign the skin that you've had custom made to have email only. Then when you create a user all you have to do is assign them that package and you're in business.

Thanks for the info guys, I figure if I "lurk" here long enough I will know DA pretty well when I get ready to buy and install it ;)

I wonder if that skin still works with the updated versions?

It should work but of course you won't be able to use it to run any of the new features such as (for example) user-level spamassassin.

Does anyone know if the author is continuing development? I sent him an email to no response about further development of this.

I believe development has been stopped.

I need a skin like this for email-only sites.

When I do it I'll probably also do Maildir at the same time.

And frankly, I don't expect it this year.
