View Full Version : Multiple SSL hosts under single user?
How does one go about setting up multiple SSL hosts under a single user? The only way I have been able to add more SSL hosts to my system is to add each account as it's own user.
Also, how do you "upgrade" an account to a dedicated IP so you can setup SSL?
Thanks.

Using separate users is the only way that I know to do it... There's no option to assign an IP address to a domain, AFAIK, only to a user.
To assign an IP address, I think you just have to modify the user's data under
Show/Modify Users -> <username> -> Modify User <username> -> Set IP to (assuming you have a free IP that you can assign).

The right way to assign an IP# to a user is through the control panel, so the control panel will know about it.
First you assign the IP# to the server if it's not already assigned.
Then you assign it to a particular reseller, and then from that reseller you set up a user.
If the user is already set up, you can modify the user to use the IP# once it's assigned to the reseller.
