Hello,

I've created new rpms for proftpd. To update:
wget http://files.directadmin.com/services/<OS>/proftpd-1.2.9-1.i386.rpm
rpm -Uvh proftpd-1.2.9-1.i386.rpm
service proftpd stop
service proftpd start

Where <OS> is one of: 7.2, 7.3, 8.0

To uninstall proftpd:
rpm -e proftpd

To install pureftpd, you will need to check their website. I have not got a clue how intergartion would or could be done, you weed need to speak with John or Mark about this.

Also, i would guess doing something like this may void partly or fully your support (maybe just your ftp support?), again, you would need to check with John or Mark.
