HD Space used possible bug

Server OS is FreeBSD5.3 and directadmin is up to date.

On the right hand side it shows Disk Space (mb) 51.702 unlimited

51 meg used, but one user alone is using 300meg, so this is quite obviously wrong, how does DA work out space used and does anyone else have this problem?

well the files show in the web based file manager for the users, but DA just isnt tallying up the hd space used correctly. It is doing this on all my DA servers.

Who owns the files? If they're owned by apache (i.e., uploaded by the user using the web server), I don't believe that those will be counted in the tally. There are a couple of threads (mostly regarding using suphp to fix this) floating around...

user is the owner and the gorup is apache.

is this correct or does it need the group to be the user's group also?

fixed John told me what to do, for those who need to know the wrong partition was set in /usr/local/directadmin/directadmin.conf quota_partition= line.
