Hello:

Since a couple of days the pop server just stops responding. When I try to restart the pop server with the service "vm-pop3d start" command the following error appears in the maillog:

Couldn't bind to socket: Address already in use

I need to restart xinetd in order to get pop working again.

Any thoughts ?

Do you have your POP client set up both as a service and in xinetd?

It needs to be in one place or the other.
