Is the only way to assign multiple IPs to a single user through hacking the custom httpd configs?

I'm not sure you can even do it that way without having it rewritten at some point.

A reseller has assigned his IPs to customers as owned instead of setting them as shared.

How can I reverse that?

Albatroz,

You'll have to remove all users/sites from the IP# in question. (Set up a new shared IP# to do it.)

Then you can change it from owned to shared.

Then you can move users to the IP#s where you really want them.
