shared SSL

I'm about to buy a web server certificate and need to know if my users will be able to use it. I mean, if I buy a web server certificate, can I share it to my customers ?

If you setup the cert as user admin then all your users that select use shared ssl cert will be able to use it, It will display an error for them tho, unless you use a chained ssl cert.

I read a bit about chained SSL. Just wondering if I sign up for a chained, am I using my own server hostname something like : server1.server.com ? If so, will I be able to use the same chained ssl cert on another server lets say, server2.server.com ?

Hello,

I think a chained SSL cert can only be installed on one server. It can be used for many clients on one server without any error messages.
