Timeframe on fix for autoresponder ?

Last week the support staff took a look at one of our new servers of which the autoresponder/vacation messaging wasn't working, they came to the conclusion that something in the exim config was broken by default and that it would be fixed with next upgrade...


Is there a timeframe for this fix ?, we have a few customers to whom we recently sold a Directadmin config on a dedicated server to, but they'd really like the autoresponder to work..

Hello,

We're working on getting exim 4.24 out with the correct exim.conf file. Should be a matter of days. For now, you can use the lastest exim4.conf file:
wget -O /etc/exim.conf http://files.directadmin.com/services/exim4.conf
service exim restart

Works for all exim 4.x installs.

Trying to get this fix, but wget is not retrieving the file. Is it on your server?

Yes, it's there. We were recompiling apache and php so you might have hit the "hole" of downtime while we were doing that :)
