One of our customers was wondering if it's possible to forward a copy of all the incoming mail to his POP account to another e-mail address? I couldn't find any other solution than using a maillinglist but is there another solution we could use?
Thanks...
PS: we are using FreeBSD 4.1

You can use the "Forwarders" function in DA.

Maybe I described the problem badly.
The customer still wants his incoming mail AND a copy of all the mail should be forwarded to another adress.

yes, forwarding does just that, as long as you have a forwarder and a pop3 account for that SAME email address.

Ah, I see.
I didn't think that was possible.
I learn new things every day :)
Thanks for the help.

I have noticed that it is not possible to link a forwarder to more than 1 email address.
So you can forward to only 1 email address.
Is this behaviour OK?
I am sure Cpanel allowed this... Why DA doesn´t?

Just list all the addresses, separated by commas, with no spaces in between in the "destination email" field.

Pardon me but http://www.site-helper.com/ on its e-mail page says under the forwarders section :
Note: You cannot create a forwarder name if it already exists as a POP3 account, autoresponder, or mailing list.
So is it still ok to create a mailbox and a forwarder with the same name ?
