Moving DA to new server

What is the best way to move my existing DA data from FreeBSD 4.10 to FreeBSD 5.3? Do I need to setup DA on the new box and get another license? Than after I move it cancel the old license?

Will it save the users and passwords? and all the files?

Old thread but I have the same question. I have DA running on a server that I am about to outgrow. I have a new server arriving this week that I am going to test centOS 4.2 and FreeBSD 6.0 on before I move it to the DC. Shortly after I move all my sites over I will shut down the old server so how do I deal with the over lap? I only need the one license I have but for a short period (1 week) I will need it up on both rigs.
