Hi,

I'm getting almost every day the message:

000000036 License File has been updated 09/22/2003
000000038 License File has been updated 09/23/2003
000000039 License File has been updated 09/24/2003
000000040 *** Your license has passed its expiry and is in a grace period *** Today at 04:00
000000041 License File has been updated Today at 04:01

Before this I already got a lot of this messages.

why do i get these all the time?

Usualy I got this message once a month.

Hello,

A license file "update" means it's downloaded the license from our system. This doesn't mean the new license that has been downloaded has been changed in any way, so if a license is going to expire, you'll need to make sure your payment has gone through (contact sales@directadmin.com if there is a problem)

When DirectAdmin realized the license will expire in 3 days, it figures it might be a good idea to try and get a new version. It might update correctly, but the new version might still be old, so it will always check again the next day just to be safe. It should only do it about 3 times before the expiry.

I'm getting a lot of these messages, but I have a license from my server provider. Should I open a ticket with them? Or do I need to do anything?

If the license Expires, will DA still be running or the system will just stop working?

DirectAdmin will stop running. Your server will still continue to serve.
