1. ive set up a redirection for people who go to test.xaviac.com it redirects them to www.xaviac.com/~test13

but it doesnt work and the dir. www.xaviac.com/~test13 exists but the subdomain keeps redirecting you to http://www.xaviac.com/forum even though its set up to go to http://www.xaviac.com/~test13

whats the problem?

I also have a redirection for index.html to go to /forum.

How did you create the redirection?

Please merge both of your redirection threads into one and delete the one you've decided to not use.

You can delete a thread by entering "Edit" and then there's a delete option at the top.

Thanks.

If you post a screenshot of the problematic redirection maybe we can figure it out.

rite you cant post a screen shot its too difficult. ive set up a redirection for test.xaviac.com to go to http://www.xaviac.com/~test13. Instead of redirecting to where ive told it to go its redirecting to another redirection, index.html to http://www.xaviac.com/forum. so when you type in http://test.xaviac.com its sending you to xaviac.com/forum.

It works of you type www.xaviac.com/test but not when you type the subdomain in!

The httpd configuration format has been tested and used for many years, and I'm sure it's working properly.

In order for me to see whether you're making a mistake in what you're typing, or there's a bug in DA, or something else is going on, then I'd need to see a screenshot.

If you can't do that, then I'd suggest you contact DA tech support if it's your DA license, or otherwise your hosting company for support.
