Preview domain?

Hello everyone, one thing I have noticed is the lack of a preview domain address (until DNS propagates).

I come from using HSphere and that has to be one of the best features they have going. Any chance of this being released?

i'm having trouble previewing the different sites prior to the dns update.

I wanted to preview the 3 sites for the 3 domains i setup before i set the dns update in motion, to make sure the new sites copied over successfully. going to http://mydomainip/~username/ gives me a 404 error. trying to go into any of the new domains fails also when using http://mydomainip/~username/domain.com/

what is the proper format to preview the ddifferent domains prior to the dns update?

The primary domain should be viewable through http://mydomainip/~username/ .

The other domains are not directly viewable, but you can log into your DA control panel and change which domain is the primary domain, for the purpose of checking all of them.

For the few sites that won't work through http://mydomainip/~username/ you can try setting the hosts file in your desktop system to the new IP#, and then restart your browser; after that it should look at the new IP# rather than the one in DNS.

If you do this, remember to delete it later.
