Customapache has been using Zend 2.5.5 for almost a month now.
Use these commands to upgrade.
cd /usr/local/directadmin/customapache
./build clean
./build update
./build zend

I wonder if it is possible to uninstall Zend Optimizer, and if so, how?
I would like to try the PHPAccelerator from IONCUBE, but according to this faq http://www.php-accelerator.co.uk/faq.php#zo
it canīt coexist with Zend

Remove the zend configurations from the php.ini file and delete the /usr/local/Zend directory.

I installed zend optimizer and it brought up my server load a lot.
So, I installed MMCache instead, which brought the load back down.
