Could I install the directadmin in my home network first before I put the server on the datacenter ?

As I want to have the server setup completely before it is in the datacenter.

Yes, but IF and only IF:

a) you can install your server on your home network on a public static IP#. DA will not work, and cannot be installed, on a NATted IP#.

b) you'll need to understand everything you must do to change the IP#s when you move the server.

c) when you move your server to it's eventual location you'll have to notify DirectAdmin to reissue the license for the final IP#; it won't start until you do.
