SSL is enabled for my web address. Going to https://www.cerberus.com.au/ produces the security certificate and clicking yes goes to the default page. However even though I have uploaded other pages to the private html folder nothing else is viewable. There is a page at https://www.cerberus.com.au/catalog/index.php but going there just produces "page not found".

Is there some obvious step that needs taking that a newbie like me does not know about?

SSL is not enabled or setup correctly for you account. When you go to the website with https is should display "Welcome to yourdomain.com
To change this page, upload a new index.html to your private_html folder"

Thanks. The file that you mentioned is in the folder private_html but will not display. I have contacted support & asked them how I can turn SSL on.

If you don't know if its enabled or not you can find out in the "Site Summary / Statistics / Logs" Page
Its displayed near the bottom as "Secure Socket Layer (ssl)"

If it is indeed on, then all you have to do is generate or buy a certificate and set it up.

I have finally realised that SSL is indeed not turned on. I have contacted support and when it is turned on either all will work well or I will then tackle the next problem. Thanks for your assistance.
