main user accounts can't login to phpadmin

all of a sudden, my main user accounts can not login to phpadmin. the accounts created in the mysql manager can login.

how can i fix this?

this is sort of embarrasing here.

isn't there a script i can run which configures the mysql permissions based on the username/password and their databases?

we solved it. change the user account's password, then change it back.
