username problem when making new user/site

When making a new user, you fill in the base form, then click customize settings and it will go the next form with "admin" filled in as the user when you had already specified a different one.

I just had a look at both included skins and creating users isn't producing the results you're describing.

What could be the cause (if the skin is customized?) .. is if the |USERNAME| token was used in place of the |NEWUSERNAME| token which is used to as the default value for the username in the customized screen.
