proper way to change hostname on DirectAdmin server

I've read some posts about this on the forum, but most of them were not so recent.

Could someone tell me what steps are required to do a full hostname change on a DirectAdmin server?

Here's a quote from an email I have in my files from DirectAdmin support:

If you want to change the hostname, do it from the Admin Panel -> Admin Settings. It will call the "hostname.sh" script in the scripts directory which should take care of the change.
It worked for me.
