Plugin Available Version

How does the Available Version protocol work in the Plugin Managment page so that I can use this feature with my Plugin?

Your plugin.conf file should specify a URL to a text file like this: http://files.installatron.com/release

The text file should have a one-line plain-text representation of the latest plugin version. :)
