I'm setting up a server for webhosting purposes, and I want to know if i'm doing it the right way.

1. I'm using CentOS with Directadmin
2. I installed CSF + LFD for better security.
3. I updated the forbidden domain list with all popular ISP's.
4. I'm setting up a second nameserver and MX-fallback at a other datacenter.

Are there any more things I should think about? CSF recommend me to recompile PHP with Suhosin, but I don't really know what it is. Also CSF recommend me to disable ini_set, but I know certain CMS (eg. Drupal) uses this function. Does it really matter if people can use ini_set?

This is all just to learn and practice, I won't host any customers until i'm sure that my server is stable and secure.

Thanks, that's really usefull. Can you answer to my other question's as well. And I have one more question as well: is it possible to give every user his own php.ini, expect that they can change the disable_functions?
