Hello, I am having some trouble. I am logged in under the admin account, and I go to the User Level.

Under Email Management, there is "SPAM Filters". I click this and get the default screen for Email filters. The whole "E-Mail Filters" box loads, but the "Filter" box does not load. Instead there is a message saying "Cannot open the filter config file for reading "

If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this, they would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a permission problem. But don't know what file(s), so i can't help you further...

I think it is permissions. I just clicked on "POP3 E-Mail Accounts" under User-Level, and got:

'Cannot open the user password file for reading '

This happens when I try to create a new POP3 account also. Also with Autoresponders, and vacation message. I think most of the Email Management files permissions or something.

'Cannot open the autoresponder config file for reading'
'Cannot open the vacation config file for reading '

Not sure how to fix all this.

I got an email response from DirectAdmin Support. If anyone else had the same problems I am having, here is the solution:

Hello,

The file is /etc/virtual/domain.com/filter.conf

make sure the filter.conf file (and the "filter" file in the same directory) are read/writeable by user "mail"
