Why not Exim 4.41?

All people here are using Exim 4.24 or similar version, as long I can see.

Why not use 4.41, the last stable?

Because new features have been added which may cause bugs. Usually it's smart to wait some time before upgrading yourself. Exim 4.41 was released only 7 days after Exim 4.40, because of a bug which was found in 4.40

With software it is usually smart to wait some time, to see if any other people encounter any bugs. If not, you can upgrade yourself.
