The service 'sshd' on server xxx.xxx.xxx is currently down

Hi,

Just got my VPS with DA installed.
But, every one hour I receive emails regarding sshd being down.
However, I can login through SSH just fine.

My search on the forum does not give me any solution. :(

Anybody have a clue what's going on?

yep....running vps and have exact same problem too. not sure why and not much info about it either. i wonder if anyone has any info on this?

Perhaps ssh isn't running as a daemon but instead is running from xinetd?
