DirectAdmin VDS Licences?

Hi,

I've read somewhere that VDS licences can be purchased at $5/month... I signed up for a client account, and I see no available pricing for this option. Are VDS licences available? I know you can get cPanel VDS Licences for $15/month. I am very interested in starting a VDS company, but I'm not willing to pay $25/month per client, when cPanel is way cheaper. Are there any available? Where?

Hello,

The only cheaper VDS/VPS pricing option we have is through VPS providers (hosts). There are no discounted options for private individuals yet. If you can get your VPS host to purchase a license from us, I'm sure they can resell it to you for much less than a Cpanel license.

i think webbist planning to be VPS provider and ask whether $5/month of DA license is true or not.

Yeah, I want to be a VPS provider.. however, I finally got ahold of them through email, and for anyone wanting to know how to get this option, here it goes:

- Signup for a client account at directadmin.com
- Make sure you have your VPS site setup and ready to go, for proof you are a VDS provider
- Contact their sales with your client ID and your VDS company information and they will somehow give you access

You will end up with a Code 500 License in the license types which is the VPS type

dumb question - VDS / VPS was ist das?

Is that for a Virtual Domain System where you have what seems to be multiple partitions each with its own root access on a single machine?
