Optimizing apache

Hi all,
Sorry for my bad English

I have a Core i 7 920 server with 8 GB of Ram
I have installed latest version of DA

But i don't know how can i optimize apache and how can i install mpm_prefork and where i can edit MaxClients , ServerLimit , MaxRequestsPerChild , etc

I need your help ....
