I set up ssl, directadmin uses it fine, but when I crated a self generated key as a user and set it, the https:// for my domain shows the apache you have successfully set up ssl page, not whats in my private_html dir.

Hello,
Turn on ssl for the domain (different from the ssl certificate):
User Panel -> Domain Setup (domain administration) -> domain.com -> check SSL -> Save.
Wait a few minutes for apache to restart.

Hello,
We have a number of SSL certificates installed on a server and they all work fine.
However, I just tried to install another certificate for an OLD user, which didn't have dedicated IP/SSL certificate and it doesn't seem to work.
Here is what I did:
1. I assigned IP to a reseller, which created that user.
2. I then logged in as reseller and modified the user to use the new IP and also checked SSL Access checkbox.
That didn't work even after I manually restarted Apache.
Moreover, the following file /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/USER/httpd.conf doesn't even contains secure server entry (with port 443).
I wonder if there is a resolution for that.
Thank you.

When you look now, is SSL still checked for the user?
If so, does the issue resolve if you turn it on and then off?
If you'll let us know the domain name and the shared IP# of the box, we can do a bit more troubleshooting.

Jeff,
Thank you for your reply, I somehow overlooked e-mail notification and didn't realize there was a response to the problem I mentioned.
Anyway, I backed up that account, deleted it and then re-created again specifying SSL is ON at the time of creation. It started to work fine, so I guess it was a bug.
Just wanted to make a note of it, so it can be fixed for others :)
