DNS entries

I want to know that in case of propagating the mail server from a previous location to the new location how much time does it take and what changes are to be made in the settings and what is the dns entry which we must use.

Changing nameserver can take anywhere from a few hours to several days.

The dns entries you use are like any other: Make the domain point to correct IP address. DA creates several A records by default, mail, ftp, www are the main ones on top of "domain.com.". They all point to the same IP.
