Hello;
I istalled DA using a domain name. I want create email accounts for the main domain but when i click user mode there only one option which is Domain Administration, when i click it i see the main domain which i installed with D.A not exist in the list. You can add domain but cant modify the main domain.
How can i manage the domain which i used at the installation step?
Thanks&Regards

Hello,
Did you read DirectAdmin Installation Guide (http://www.directadmin.com/installguide.html)
Important: The hostname should not be the same as the primary domain name. e.g. gary.com is not a good hostname, where server.gary.com is. Having the same host/main domain name will cause e-mail and FTP problems. Also, please make sure the hostname resolves once you setup DNS.
Change hostname to something like server.domain.com, after that you'll be able to add domain.com as a regular domain.

Hello;
Now i am going to reinstall it. Normally i did not change the domain from CPANEL of my server it was the IP. But i gave the domain at time of installation like mydomain.com. It is true that also my SMTP is also not working for email. I will install Direct Admin to Fresh Centos 5.5 32 BIT with using vps.mydomain.com. What is your recommendation for OS. Is there any difference for D.A. between O.S.
Thanks&Regards.

To change hostname you don't need to reinstall Directadmin.
p.s. CentOS 5.x is my choice.

If you want to change the hostname, do it from the Admin Panel -> Admin Settings. It will call the "hostname.sh" script in the scripts directory which should take care of the change.
