I am getting slammed by email from some spam organization that sends us one email every second. I have tried putting in filters to block the email address and also filters by word and neither are working. Can anyone explain why they aren't working?

Hello,
Check your email headers. They are probably typing text in html chunks, ie:
<font color=black>H</font><font color=black>e</font><font color=black>l</font><font color=black>l</font><font color=black>o</font>
That shows up as "Hello" in your client, but the filter only sees the actual email souce. You'd need to view the actual raw body f the email to see what they are including.

If I copied the headers here would you be able to tell me how to put up a filter? The subject line says welcome aboard and I put aboard in as a word filter and that doesn't work either.

Are you using SpamBlocker (http://www.directadmin.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3145)?
This is exactly the sort of attack it's great for.
