Why would you want to change system messages?
And what do you want to change them into?

Those messages are send per admin and per reseller.
So you won't get such system message if a reseller's backup is ready for example. Then the reseller will get it with his domain name in it.
That's normal procedure.

Copy the

/usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/message_user.txt
/usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/message_tech.txt

files

to

/usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/custom

then edit them in that folder

The main domain (so called default) for reseller (or hostname, if a reseller doesn't have any domain) is used in such messages.

Edit the

/usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/message_user.txt
/usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/message_tech.txt

files
Don't edit the files in the template directory or your changes will be overwritten. Instead move them to the custom subdirectory and change them there.
