Hello,

1) Create the Reseller account on the new server with "newuser" as the username.
2) chgange the name of the backup to "newuser.tar.gz" and restore it through the Reseller Panel -> User Backups page. (or else use the "Site Backup" in the user panel)

Hello,

Backups will still only affect the user portion of your account during a restore so any user packages etc should not be touched.

If you only want certain part of the user backup, place the tar.gz file into your /home/username/backups directory, go to the User Panel -> Site Backup/Restore
Select the file you just copied and you can select whichever aspects of the file you want to restore.
