vm-Pop3d cannot be started.

I have just installed a new license of DA,
however, I cannot start vm-pop3d..

I can connect to the port 110, but it cannot authenticate me.

DA shows that it's is stopped.

default login is ok as well..


p.s. The computer that I used to SSH in to install was crashed during the installation, I started the installation again and was succeeded.

Please help.. :confused:

Type:
telnet localhost 110

If you can connect, then there is another pop daemon running. Remove any other pop rpm's.. also make sure that xinetd isn't running the daemon by checking all "pop" type files in /etc/xinetd.d/*pop* and make sure that "disabled=yes" is set. (then start xinetd and vm-pop3d)
