CGI scritps

Hey
i am having a problem installing some cgi scripts.
i have ftp'd it correctly
and given it the proper CHMOD however
when i go to the link
http://mydomain.com/cgi-bin/.....

i get an internal server error
not of the cgi scripts will show up


what do i do
