Potential problem with pipes in aliases

/etc/virtual/domain.com/aliases can contain piped commands.
Spamassassin should choke when being sent a command instead of an email address.
This could be avoided by making sure piped commands are not being sent to Spamassassin.

Are you sure that a pipe alias actually makes its way to SpamAssassin?

Have you tested to see what SpamAssassin does?

What happens when SpamAssassin chokes?

Has this happened with the current version of exim.conf? With any previous version?

I'm not using Spamassassin, but I've tested the code and a piped command makes it to the spamcheck transport.

No idea if Spamassassin likes it or not.

It has been like that since Spamassassin has been introduced.

It would be fairly to test for someone using Spamassassin.

No-one has reported this in years, and you admit that you're not reporting it either, so I'll wait to see if someone tests it and reports a problem.

Yep, I just wanted to give a heads up because I ran into problems with dspam, but it does make sense to filter messages being sent to a pipe.
The problem has more to do with how to route the message since the recipient is a pipe, but not all filtering engines are the same.
