Hi,

If I create a reseller with say 2gb of hdd and 50gb of bandwidth, and then he creates an account of say 200mb and 10gb bandwidth, how do I get these total values deducated from his allocation, i.e. so he is left with 1.8gb hdd and 40gb bandwidth, whether its actually used or not, just the fact its been allocated ?

Thanx

Hello,

Once a Reseller creates a user, the allocated totals should go up right away. If he's only created 1 user with those numbers then his "allocated" usage should be 200mb disk space and 10 gig bandwidth.

Note that the admin allocations get updated during the nightly tally.

So a reseller can really f*ck up your server?

If you allow a reseller to oversell he can certainly sell more resources than you've limited him to.

However you have final control as to whether or not you let your resellers oversell.

We let our resellers oversell, and we monitor their usage; we'd rather charge for more resource usage than shut him down when he uses more than he's contracted for.
