VERY slow IMAP

Any clue on why IMAP take forever to get my messages?
I'm using Outlook 2000 and 2003 and both take an extremely long time to check for new mail -- like 1-2min.

Never had t his before, it was always super quick with cPanel.

Any thoughts?

Hello,

Try it with squirrelmail. It also uses IMAP. If squirrelmail is quick, then there is a delay between you and your server. If it's slow, then something is slowing it down.. possibly an oversized inbox.
