i got a massage from my vps say
Did your muscles feel better after it was done?
When you look at the message on the server I believe there are more instructions.
Solution:
Either change the servername in DirectAdmin or run the 'hostname.sh' script via ssh to change your hostname

Ok obviously you did not get the joke. Massage is what you get when your muscles are tense. A message is what you get in your inbox.
You received an email that looked like this:
A new message or response with subject:
This is e-mail notification to warn you that your hostname is setup improperly on your system.
has arrived for you to view.
Follow this link to view it:

Do Not Reply.
Now when you actually got to your server and read the message on the server like I told you to do you would see this:
Your hostname, server.example.com, and the servername you have set in DirectAdmin, example.com, do not match. It is recommended that these two values are the same.
Solution:
Either change the servername in DirectAdmin or run the 'hostname.sh' script via ssh to change your hostname
Follow the instructions.
If you do not know how to follow the instructions given then you should hire a system administrator.

Do yourself a favor and take an hour out of your day and become familiar with the DirectAdmin control panel.
The forum is your tutorial. If you put forth a little effort you can find all the answers to all your question here. Read this forum every day. You will pick up things you will need later on.
The instructions said to use the hostname.sh script. So search hostname.sh here in the forum. One of the results points to this page:
