update httpd exim and DA handled services

Hi,
We all know that DA is installed by using custom build and all other software like apache and other are installed automatically with it, but does that mean we cannot install updates for httpd and other software through command prompt, will it harm the DA collaborating with these systems in any way, or we can just update independednt servers that Da is handling independently and that will not harm DA in any way.

CustomBuild builds all software packages from source, using it's own configuration settings. Updating using OS packages will probablly break your server, but updating from source should work. However unless you make changes to custombuild your next custombuild run may undo changes you've intended to be made.

I recommend you stick with custombuild, it's very customizable, and a little learning goes a long way.
