hi I am a real noob with DA panel,

I have got vps with root access, I see 3 panels in DA, as admin, reseller and user

I have to add domain to the account, how to do it, please elaborate in detail as mentioned earlier I am complete noob

I tried to create an reseller account, I had been given 4 ips from the host
I am planning to use 2 of them for the nameservers and I don't mind using the same for the host as well

under ip's , how many should I enter, is it 1 or 2 or 3 or 0 ??

and there is an option called dns, should I select it or not ?

and under personal dns,
if I have for namesake 4 ips as :

1.1.1.1
1.1.1.2
1.1.1.3
1.1.1.4

my name server ips would be, 1.1.1.1 and 1.1.1.2
so what should I select, uses2 or uses3 or none ??

plzz help me, I have experience only with kloxo and cPanel, so plz guide me through this period

There is help site, when you are in admin, reseller, user mode. You should try help link.

this is the DA official help forums

Actually this is a volunteer help forum for users of DirectAdmin. DA users help each other here and occasionally DA Support will post here. But if you have any real support issues and you are paying for that service then you need to submit your request directly to DA.

I really wanted to respond to this thread, but after going over the questions, and the answers, I really didn't see a better way to say any of it than that already present at the various help sites already set up for DirectAdmin; for administrators (http://admin.site-helper.com/), for resellers (http://reseller.site-helper.com/), and for users (http://www.site-helper.com/).

About the only thing I can think of adding, sajre, is that you should start by thinking first as an administrator, not abut a specific site. Once the administrator configuration is complete, then think about selling hosting, as a reseller. Then think about setting up your site, as a user.

Some of us actually sell virtual reseller accounts, so you can have your own VPS and still be a reseller, without having to worry about setting up the administrator functions. Others of us sell virtual hosting accounts, so you can have your own VPS and still only have to worry about the user interface. We do, and I'm sure others do as well.
